NEET 2020 (National Eligibility Entrance Test)
NEET is the national level entrance test conducted by the Universal Testing Agency (NTA). According to new changes now AIIMS and JIPMER admissions are also done based on NEET scores. Candidates must qualify for this entry test in order to get admitted to well-known medical institutions in the country. In 2013 NEET replaced AIPMT and all the other competitive MBBS examinations that took place. NEET is the only test that is conducted for admissions to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India. The NEET (UG)-2020 will take place Sunday, May 03, 2020.
Application process: There is a simple five-step process for the application of NEET. Below are the steps to follow.
Step 1 – Visit the website (www.ntaneet.nic.in)
Step 2 – Fill in the online application form with the necessary details.
Step 3 – Upload the required documents. (Uploading of Photographs, Signature, Left-hand thumb impression, and Class 10th Certificate)
Step 4 – Make Payment for the fees by available payment modes which are (credit/debit card, Net banking, UPI, PAYTM).
Step 5 – Download a copy of after successfully the payment is made.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who are Indian or Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Indian Overseas Citizens (OCIs), Indian People (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals can apply for NEET exams. Age Criteria isthe applicant must be born before 31.12.2003 as of the date of examination the upper age limit is 25 years. Completion of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination is a must to apply for the exam. Students must be from PCB background that is they must have cleared their higher education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in English medium. The Applicant from the General category must have secured minimum 50% marks in 12th Grade, 40% marks for SC/ST/ OBC categories also for Physically Challenged candidates the minimum percentage is 45% to apply for NEET.

NEET 2020 Syllabus:
National Testing Agency is responsible for the declaration of the syllabus of NEET. There are three subjects of the NEET syllabus 2020: chemistry, physics, and biology. The NEET 2020 syllabus mostly covers the curriculum of the specified subjects from Class 10th to 12th. Medical aspirants need to learn the syllabus inside and out to crack the NEET 2020 test.
Exam Pattern:
A candidate who is known to the exam pattern will have a better preparation strategy and will be able to perform in an excellent manner.
Mode: It is a pen- paper-based test and its time duration are of 3 hrs.
Subjects: Physics, chemistry, and biology are the subjects
The number of questions: 180 multiple choice questions and each will have 4 options with 1 correct response.
Marks: In total its of 720 Marks
Ranking system: 4 marks for one correct answer and -1 for one incorrect answer
Language: Exam is conducted in 11 languages.

NEET Admit Card:
March 27th 2020, will be the release date for NEET admit card online. Candidates can log in and download the admit card from their registered accounts. It’s important to remember that there will be no physical copy of the admit card provided it’s only available online. Admit card is treated as a hall ticket during the exam entry. Hence, it is one of the important documents to be carried to the exam center. Admit card will be checked and signed by the invigilator which is referred to as the student who applied for the exam and the one appearing for the examination are the same. Applicant’s name, D.O.B., Exam date, time, center details and more are the details available on the admit card. If there are any discrepancies in any of the details on the admit card the candidate should contact the helpline between 27 March – 10 April 2020.

To secure a position in the best Medical college you desire, one needs to have a good strategy to crack the NEET exam as the competition is getting tougher with every passing year. You need to have a proper strategy with such a vast syllabus that will help you to cover the whole syllabi. Some of the tips that might help you are mentioned below.
- Prepare a Timetable – Managing your time in a proper manner will help you to study the complete syllabus within time and you will also have time for revision. Calculate the number of days left for the exam so that you can divide the topics accordingly. Allot equal time for all subjects.
