The remarkable feat unfolded at the Indian Consulate Auditorium during a concert titled ‘Music Beyond Boundaries.’ Suchetha’s melodic journey spanned 102 languages, as she sang one song in each, captivating the audience with her exceptional linguistic dexterity.

The event, hosted by the Indian People’s Forum under the patronage of the Consulate General of India, showcased the convergence of cultural richness and musical prowess. Suchetha’s six-hour and 15-minute performance held the audience spellbound, as she effortlessly transitioned between European, Indian, South American, and Southeast Asian languages. From the iconic languages like Mandarin, Spanish, English, and Arabic to the lesser-known gems like Maori, Maithili, Quechua, and Kokborok, her repertoire was a celebration of linguistic diversity.
The Guinness World Record for singing in the most languages during one concert had previously stood at 76, achieved by Dr. Kesiraju Srinivas in 2008. Additionally, Dr. Srinivas held the record for singing a song in the most languages, with ‘Golden Dreams of Gandhiji’ recorded in 125 languages and released as a double CD album in 2009. Suchetha’s triumph not only surpassed these milestones but also underscored her exceptional talent and dedication to the art of music.
